Carbon Expo 2007

Cologne, Germany, May 2-4, 2007

Carbon Expo Logo

Carbon Expo is the leading annual Global Trade Fair and Conference for emissions trading and carbon abatement solutions. The World Bank is co-hosting this event in cooperation with the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and Koelnmesse. This year's Expo will take place in Cologne, Germany, from May 2 to 4, 2007.

Now in its fourth year, this cornerstone event is the largest gathering of the global greenhouse gas (GHG) carbon market. The Expo plays a vital role in expanding the flow of capital to the developing world to take up the challenge of climate change.

Carbon Expo brings together more than 2000 buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders. The Expo enables developing countries to bring potential carbon finance projects to the Expo and interact with possible buyers, technical experts and other project developers.

The World Bank Institute (WBI) supports the active participation of developing countries in this fair by facilitating a booth where national technical missions can demonstrate their country programs and provide outreach information on domestic emission reduction projects.

The full conference program is available at: www.carbonexpo.com.
