    
Exploring Frontiers in Payments Systems Development Co-organized by the World Bank Group, in cooperation with SWIFT With the generous co-sponsorship of: CMA, LogicaCMG, Montran, and Perago AG May 29 to June 1, 2007 World Bank Group Headquarters, Washington, DC  Payments systems are a key component of financial sector infrastructure. Inefficiencies and high transaction costs in these systems represent a tax on individuals, enterprises, and whole economies. In this context, the World Bank and International Finance Corporation are co-organizing, in cooperation with SWIFT, the second global conference on Exploring Frontiers in Payments Systems Development.
