The Knowledge Assessment Methodology (KAM) is a "do-it-yourself" tool that provides a preliminary knowledge economy assessment of a country, which can form the basis for more detailed knowledge economy work. The scorecards help to identify the problems and opportunities that a country faces in making the transition to the knowledge economy, and where it may need to focus policy attention or future investments.
