The e-Champions VC Series has the following objectives:

  • Deliver just-in-time know-how from leading e-government implementers (USA, Canada, Korea, UK, Singapore, Australia, Estonia et al) and facilitate knowledge sharing with peer countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico, India) to fill in urgent knowledge gaps for high priority e-government projects in Sri Lanka
  • Serve as a series of virtual study tours for Sri Lankan colleagues to learn e-government experience of other countries
  • Initiate and facilitate contacts and exchanges between Sri Lankan and international e-government experts
  • Serve as a complementary capacity building and knowledge sharing channel in addition to traditional training workshops, one-way lectures, email and web-based delivery.
