Potential Scaling-up

Following the Learning Forum pilot, several options for scaling up could be envisaged:

  • Scaling up to assist other States through similar capacity building workshops. For this the core material would be made easily available to other stakeholders in India.
  • Scaling up through regional or global learning events on University Governance, Leadership and Management. There is a global demand for an effective sharing of experiences on these issues. This could build an international community of practice with interested stakeholders who are committed to carrying this agenda forward in their countries.
  • Scaling up through the appointment of key responsible persons to disseminate the results of the Learning Forum, and help States individually formulate strategic plans to improve governance of their technical, engineering and other higher education institutions.
