| | | The national course on Poverty Analysis was organized by the World Bank ECA Region (ECSPE) and the World Bank Institute in collaboration with the Bosnia & Herzegovina Agency for Statistics and the Directorate for Economic Planning and was funded by DFID. This training course is a follow-up activity to the Western Balkan Regional Training of Trainers course on Poverty Analysis, which was held in Washington D.C in January 2007. At that time, the delegates from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, FYROM, Serbia, and Montenegro expressed a strong demand for further support to enhance their capacity to analyze and monitor poverty data. In response to that request, this national course was organized to further strengthen the analytical capacity in Bosnia & Herzegovina and to provide the participants with the necessary technical skills. | | |
