Poverty Analysis Course in Serbia, March 31 - April 4, 2008

Participants:  34 representatives from line ministries, statisticians and researchers from Serbia, academia.
Description: The objective of this course is to strengthen the analytical capacity in Serbia and to provide the participants with the necessary technical skills. The topics covered in this course will include poverty and well-being, welfare aggregates, poverty measurement, inequality measurement, poverty lines, poverty profiles, the determinants of poverty, LSMS & HBS for policy analysis, and gender analysis for PRSP and MDG monitoring. The course involves a series of computer training and exercises using SPSS software.
