FEE

The conference fee is US$800 for external participants. Must be payed to the
World Bank "IBRD/WBI" via wire transfer or check/ money order in US Dollar only.

During the days of the conference, this fee will include: 

  • instructors' fees 
  • books and training materials 
  • light lunches and coffee breaks
  • first night reception dinner

DEADLINE:

The deadline for receipt of application forms has been extended to May 23, 2008. Confirmation will be done on a continuous basis after receiving the conference fee. Conference fees are due promptly after registration confirmation. 

You will receive payment instructions after registering online for the conference.

Participants will be responsible for arranging and financing their own transportation to and from the workshop location, as well as for arranging and paying for their hotel accommodations.

Since the conference is fee-based, prospective applicants may want to seek financial assistance from multilateral and bilateral organizations. The World Bank is unable to sponsor any participant for this particular activity.

PROCEDURES AND POLICIES FOR CANCELATIONS AND NO SHOWS

 

  • Cancellation fees apply to external participants as well as World Bank staff.
  • Cancellations received less than 10 working days prior to the start of the conference will be   penalized 50% of the tuition fee.
  • Cancellations received less than 5 working days prior to commencement of the conference will be  penalized 75% of the tuition fee.
  • No refund will be made to participants canceling one day before or on the first day of the conference or to “no shows”.
  • Substitutions, subject to the approval of the task manager, are possible, but must be made at least three (3) working days prior to the start of the Conference and are based on the new candidates completed application form.
  • Replacement nominations for government sponsored participants will be accepted by notifying a WBI contact person of the change up to two weeks in advance
