INFRISK: A Computer Simulation Approach to Risk Management in Infrastructure Project Finance Transactions
March 2-4, 2009 Washington, D.C About INFRISK: It is a software that has been developed in-house the World Bank Institute. It is intended as a guide to practitioners in the field and as a training tool for raising awareness and expertise in the application of modern risk management techniques. It is capable of analyzing a project’s exposures to a variety of market, credit, and performance risks from the perspective of key contracting parties—project promoter, creditor, and the government. Which leads to an infrastructure project bieng successfully brought to financial closure when these parties strike a balance, reaching a common ground of interest and understanding.
