The Role of the Finance Committee: Oversight of the Budget and Poverty Reduction

The workshop examined parliamentarians’ oversight role on the national budget and poverty reduction programs, as well as the complementary work of different actors such as the Cours des Comptes and civil society organizations. The workshop also introduced practical tools for monitoring poverty reduction programs in legislators' constituencies. The workshop was organized in partnership with Financial Management Africa Region (AFTFM) and the Parliamentary Centre.
