Helsinki, Finland October 3-5, 2007 The World Bank Institute in partnership with the Parliament of Finland conducted a seminar on Parliamentary Reform in Africa, which took place in Helsinki, Finland from October 3-5, 2007. This seminar brought together approximately 25 participants from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria and Tanzania, with the aim of highlighting Parliamentary Reform in Africa. The purpose of the seminar was to highlight African parliamentary reforms, especially with regard to building networks, improving parliamentary administration and scrutinizing policies.
