Journalism Training for Transparency and Governance

Tegucigalpa, Honduras

The training course aims at strengthening the journalists’ capabilities in order to adequately place the problems of transparency and governance on the journalistic agenda. The duration of this course is seven months and it will be delivered in two stages: face-to-face and distance learning. Some of the topics addressed in this course are: access to public information and transparency, accountability of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches, as well as of oversight bodies, budgets, procurement, subsidies.
