Vientiane, Laos
March 24-25, 2008
In collaboration with UNDP, the World Bank Institute held an activity entitled, “The Role of Parliament in Curbing Corruption”, which took place from March 24-25, 2008 in Vientiane, Laos. This learning activity was designed to improve the knowledge of participants on issues relating to the international best practice in the role of parliament in providing oversight, improving transparency, and contributing to anti-corruption efforts. This learning activity was attended by approximately 40 Members of Parliament and parliamentary staff from Laos.
