November 17 - 20, 2008 Kuwait City, Kuwait  WBI worked in partnership with the Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC), the Parliament of Kuwait and its Arab regional chapter of GOPAC (ARPAC) to deliver training programs at the "3rd Global Conference of Parliamentarians Against Corruption" which was held in Kuwait City, Kuwait from November 17 - 20, 2008. The Conference brought together parliamentarians from around the world with a primary focus on their roles in the effective implementation and oversight of the UN Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). In addition, the conference re-emphasized the resolutions passed at the 2006 GOPAC Global Conference through the approval of a progressive plan of action for GOPAC and its chapters to continue working with other organizations interested in fighting corruption.  Draft agenda (130 kb pdf)
GOPAC is an international network of parliamentarians dedicated to good governance and combating corruption throughout the world.
