WBI’s Rural Poverty and Development learning program supports the World Bank's efforts to address today's challenges in rural areas. We promote knowledge and learning for people and institutions committed to poverty reduction and sustainable development. The program advances policy dialogue, shares best practices, and develops new and strengthens existing partnerships with training institutions to reach people at the local, country, and regional levels. The training and learning events, materials, and other resources featured on the website cover specific topics such as land policies, agricultural growth and horticulture development, and strategies for rural poverty alleviation.
